The Alien Stage story

Alien Stage is set in a world where humans, kept by the alien Segyein, are raised in Anakt Garden and made to sing against each other for an alien audience. The loser of each round is killed. VIVINOS released the series as twelve stand-alone animated videos between September 2022 and June 2025, with a solo-song line (ALNST Sub) filling in each contestant's inner life between episodes.

The premise in one paragraph

Six contestants — Mizi, Sua, Till, Ivan, Luka and Hyuna — are human property of the Segyein. Each numbered round pairs two singers; the audience scores them; the loser dies. Outside the arena a human Rebellion is trying to bring the whole thing down. Two contestants are still alive when the series ends.

Round 1 — Mizi vs Sua

The opening duel, released 7 September 2022. Mizi and Sua sing My Clematis against each other. Mizi wins; Sua does not survive it. Everything after this is written as a reply to it — Mizi is still grieving Sua three rounds later, and the series' final episode returns to the two of them.

Round 2 — Till vs Acorn

Released 5 October 2022. Till's introduction, singing Unknown (Till The End…). He wins without letting his opponent Acorn get a word in. The episode fills in his past and his crush on Mizi.

Round 3 — Ivan vs Marty

Released 5 January 2023. Ivan's introduction, singing Black Sorrow, which he wins 90 to 68. The episode is where his history with Till is first shown — the two of them as children in Anakt Garden, and a failed escape Till turned back from.

Round 4 and Round 5 — Luka

Round 4 was never released. Luka beats Durian in it off-screen and arrives in Round 5 (28 April 2023) already a winner, duetting Ruler Of My Heart with Mizi and spending the round provoking her about Sua.

Round 6 — Ivan vs Till

Released 5 April 2024, and the round the fandom means when it says ivantill. Ivan and Till sing Cure. Near the end Till stops singing; Ivan kisses him and puts his hands around his throat. He is throwing the round on purpose, losing points so that Till lives longer than he does.

Final Round — Till vs Luka

Released 25 October 2024, also called Round 7. The last two contestants sing Blink Gone.

How Zombie Stage fits

Zombie Stage is an alternate universe, revealed on 5 June 2026 and opened with its own Round 1 on 26 June 2026. It does not overwrite the main series: the same Round 1 pairing happens, but in a world where an infection turned the performers into zombies and the underground circus that owns them sells the loser's body parts.
