Sua sings Candy Scar with Mizi and loses the duel — the emotional shockwave that defines the entire series. Her death is the wound every subsequent song reopens.
Round 1 — the elimination that defines the show
Sua and Mizi are girlfriends when the arena pairs them for the first duel. Mizi wins. Sua is eliminated. The whole later series is Alien Stage learning to talk around this loss — every song about grief, every subplot about survivor's guilt, every character study of Mizi is a reply to it. Sua's death is the wound the show keeps reopening.
The posthumous discography
Unusually for an eliminated character, Sua keeps releasing. Bon Bon Jellyfish Planet (SUA Part.2, Nov 2025) is a candy-bright dream-pop track where she imagines a planet made only of jellyfish and softness — a place that could not exist in the arena. The song is the softest thing VIVINOS has released and, read as posthumous, one of the heaviest.
Where the AU diverges
In Alien Stage, Sua's death is final. In Zombie Stage her body is preserved and brought back to perform Round 1 again — she loses again, forever, in a loop. In the AU she only fully recognizes Mizi during the bridge of Candy Scar. For the AU-side profile see Sua's character page.
