The basics

The basics

What is Zombie Stage? +

Zombie Stage is the first official AU (alternate universe) of Alien Stage, made by VIVINOS. A global infection has turned people into zombies; criminal organisations and corrupt police hide them underground and run a circus where they sing for an audience of uninfected humans. The loser of a match is dismembered and the parts are sold. Round 1 released on YouTube on 26 June 2026 with the duet Candy Scar.

Is Zombie Stage the same as Alien Stage? +

No. They share a cast and a creator, not a world. Alien Stage is the parent series (2022 to 2025) — humans singing for an alien ruling class. Zombie Stage is the first alternate universe, released June 2026, and it runs on its own rules. It does not continue or overwrite Alien Stage. No total number of AUs has ever been announced.

Side-by-side comparison →

Is Zombie Stage canon? +

It is official — VIVINOS made it and it is released through the official Alien Stage channels. It is not part of the main storyline: it is a separate world with the same characters, so nothing in it overwrites Alien Stage. Kang confirmed on 5 April 2026 that more episodes are coming in both the main universe and the alternate ones.

How many rounds are there in Zombie Stage? +

One. Round 1 — Mizi vs Sua, with Candy Scar and Little Bunny — released 26 June 2026. A second episode is expected during 2026, with no date announced. No total round count has ever been confirmed.

The story

The story

What is Candy Scar about? +

Candy Scar is the opening duel of Zombie Stage Round 1 between Mizi and Sua. On the surface it plays as a K-pop love song, but 'sweet wound' (달콤한 상처) is used literally: the singers are already dead, and the arena's living audience buys their wounds as candy. The bridge admits both singers remember loving each other from Alien Stage.

Why do Mizi and Sua remember each other in Zombie Stage? +

Zombies in the arena are meant to be blank performers, but Mizi and Sua's bond survives death — VIVINOS's central premise. Mizi is the only zombie in the arena confirmed to retain memories; Sua only recognizes Mizi during the bridge of Candy Scar, then loses the memory again in the outro.

What is The Dressing Room? +

A 31-second interlude on Zombie Stage OST Part.1, named for the room where the performers are cosmetically restored before going on. It has no published lyric sheet, and no source places it inside the episode — so despite the name, do not assume it scores a dressing-room scene. Alien Stage has its own mirror song, MirroR (MIZI Part.2), which is a separate track in a separate universe.

The characters

The characters

Who are the main characters in Zombie Stage? +

Six contestants sing in Alien Stage: Mizi, Sua, Till, Ivan, Luka and Hyuna. Zombie Stage Round 1 so far features Mizi, Sua, Hyuna, Ivan and Mizi's mother — every profile on this site tracks who a character is in Alien Stage versus what is actually confirmed for them under Zombie Stage.

All character profiles →

What is Mizi's role in Zombie Stage? +

Zombified before Round 1 rather than the winner of it, and the only zombie in the arena to retain her memories. She is the emotional anchor of the AU — her refusal to forget Sua is what drives the entire Round.

Why did Sua die in Alien Stage? +

Sua lost the first duel of Alien Stage Round 1 to Mizi, whom she loved. The elimination was the emotional shockwave that defines the whole series. In Zombie Stage her body is preserved rather than destroyed — she sings Round 1 again, forever losing.

Can I make my own Alien Stage merch or fan crafts? +

For yourself and your friends, yes — fan crafts are how this fandom works. Don't mass-produce or sell pieces based on VIVINOS characters. If you want somewhere to start, our bead pattern maker turns any picture into a printable perler-bead chart with real Perler colour codes and bead counts, and ships with hand-drawn 29×29 charts for all six leads.
