Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 July 2026
zombiestage.com ("we", "our", "the site") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and why, and lists your rights under GDPR (EU), CCPA (California) and comparable regulations.
1. Information we collect
- Analytics data — aggregated page views, referrers, device and country data via Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID
G-RZ6FYL9GHQ). Google Analytics sets cookies (e.g._ga,_ga_*) to distinguish visitors. IP addresses are truncated by Google before storage. - Session behavior data — we use Microsoft Clarity to record session replays (mouse movement, clicks, scrolling) and generate click/scroll heatmaps, so we can see which parts of a page are confusing or ignored. Clarity masks text entered into form fields by default and is not used to identify you personally. See "Cookies" below for the cookies it sets and how to opt out.
- Voluntary contact — if you email us, we store your email address only for as long as required to respond.
2. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not maintain user accounts (the site is static and has no login).
- We do not use fingerprinting.
3. Cookies
The site itself sets no first-party functional cookies. Third-party services we embed may set cookies:
- Google Analytics 4 — sets
_gaand_ga_RZ6FYL9GHQcookies (typically 2-year lifetime) to distinguish unique visitors and measure engagement. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. - Microsoft Clarity — sets
_clck(~1 year) and_clsk(~1 day) cookies to link your page views into a single session recording for the heatmap/replay tools described above. Clarity is operated by Microsoft, is processed under the Microsoft Privacy Statement, and may be used in aggregated form to improve Microsoft's own analytics and advertising products. Clarity honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, and blocking cookies or tracking scripts in your browser stops it entirely. - YouTube (embedded videos) — uses
youtube-nocookie.com, which sets cookies only after playback begins.
You can block cookies in your browser without any loss of core site functionality.
4. Your rights
Under GDPR and CCPA you have the right to:
- Request access to any personal data we may hold about you.
- Request deletion of that data.
- Opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].
5. Children
The site is aimed at general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13.
6. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where reasonable, note the change on the homepage for at least seven days.
7. Contact
Privacy questions: [email protected]. General contact: [email protected].
