Cure — meaning
Cure is the instrumental string rescoring of the Round 6 duet — the song Till and Isaac were made to sing at each other in the most argued-about episode of Alien Stage. Released in the ALNST Original String Special line, it keeps the melody and removes both voices.
The duet with the voices taken out
The original Cure (ALNST OST Part.7, April 2024) was performed by AKUGETSU and PARK BYEONG HOON — the singing voices of Till and Isaac — as Round 6's head-to-head track. The string special strips both parts away, so what you hear is the space between the two performers: the accompaniment to a confrontation, waiting for singers who are no longer there.
Why the title reads as irony
The arena stages Round 6 as spectacle and calls the song a cure. Played by a chamber ensemble, with no voice left to perform defiance or control, the melody stops sounding like a duel at all — it moves like a plea. The string version is the closest the series comes to admitting what the duet was actually about.
Where it sits in the String Special line
Cure and My Clematis shipped together on 2025-07-01 as the ALNST Original String Special Soundtrack. The pairing is deliberate: My Clematis opened the story in Round 1, Cure closed its most consequential chapter in Round 6 — the string arc replays the series' two pivotal duets as bookends, without a single word.
