Everyone searching this is really asking one thing: is the character I care about safe? Here is the honest answer, split into what Round 1 confirms and what is still unknown.

The straight answer

Nobody dies in Zombie Stage Round 1. But “nobody dies” is not the reassurance it sounds like.

There is exactly one loss in the episode, and it is not a death:

  • Mizi wins the duel by one point.
  • Sua loses — and because the arena trades in body parts, she is laid on a slaughtering table and her arm is cut off and sold to the audience.

She survives it. In this universe, the entire cast are already zombies, so “death” is not the threat the arena uses. Dismemberment and sale is.

What happens to Sua

Sua’s ending is the single most-searched Zombie Stage story beat, so it is worth being precise.

| Question | Answer | | --- | --- | | Does Sua die? | No | | What happens to her? | Her arm is amputated on the slaughtering table | | Why? | She lost the duel; the arena sells the loser for parts | | Where does she end up? | Unresolved — the episode ends without saying | | Does it play as a death scene? | Yes, visually — Little Bunny plays acapella over it |

The episode stages it like an execution and then withholds the execution. That gap is the point. It is why people search “who dies in Zombie Stage” instead of just watching the end again.

The one rule that matters

Zombie Stage’s arena is not Alien Stage’s arena, and the difference changes every prediction.

| | Alien Stage | Zombie Stage | | --- | --- | --- | | What losing costs | Your life | A body part, auctioned | | Who the cast are | Humans, on a stage | Zombies, in a black market | | The horror | Death as spectacle | The body as merchandise | | Can a loser come back? | No | Yes — and that is the scary part |

That last row is the one to hold onto. In Alien Stage a loss ends a character’s arc. In Zombie Stage a loss keeps them in the story with less of themselves — which means nobody is safe by dying, and nobody is removed by it either.

The whole cast, ranked

Who has been shown in Zombie Stage, and what Round 1 tells us about their risk.

Confirmed on screen

| Character | Round 1 status | Risk | | --- | --- | --- | | Mizi | Won the duel, intact | Low — currently the arena’s favourite | | Sua | Lost, one arm amputated | High — already a traded body | | Hyuna | Appears, does not perform | Unknown | | Ivan | Appears, no role | Unknown |

Confirmed absent

| Character | Status | | --- | --- | | Till | No Zombie Stage design as of September 2026 | | Luka | Not shown in Round 1 |

Referenced only

| Character | Status | | --- | --- | | Hia | Sua’s older sister — full profile, zero screen time | | Mizi’s mother | Appears in flashback only |

That two of the site’s most-visited character pages — Till and Luka — belong to characters with no Zombie Stage appearance at all is the clearest sign of how little has actually been revealed. Most survival questions are still unanswerable because the characters have not entered the AU yet.

Survival odds

Not predictions dressed as facts — this is a reading of what Round 1 actually establishes. Treat the numbers as argument, not data.

| Character | Survives Round 2? | Why | | --- | --- | --- | | Mizi | Very likely | The only fighter with a win and no injury | | Sua | Likely | Already lost a limb; the arena has been paid | | Hyuna | Unknown | No performance, no track, no risk established | | Ivan | Unknown | Same as Hyuna — present but unplaced | | Luka | Unknown | Not yet introduced to the AU | | Till | Unknown | Not yet designed in the AU |

The pattern to notice: the two characters fans ask about most are the two who have not appeared. Luka and Till are the main-series survivors whose Zombie Stage fates are completely open, and no fan page can honestly answer for them yet.

Who we cannot judge yet

Three groups are simply off the table for now:

  1. Anyone not yet in the AU — Till and Luka have no designs, so their survival is not a question Round 1 answers.
  2. Any second-episode character — no cast, no matchup, no track. See the Round 2 status tracker.
  3. Sua’s future — she is alive but dismembered. Whether that means she returns diminished or returns dangerous is unresolved.

What we are not claiming

  • We are not claiming a death list. Round 1 has no death.
  • We are not claiming Sua dies later. Nothing on the record says so.
  • We are not ranking characters by importance — only by what the episode has shown.

This page is updated when an episode adds a real answer. If a fan page hands you a clean list of who dies, it is filling in a story the studio has not told yet.

Frequently asked

Who dies in Zombie Stage? +

Nobody dies in Round 1. The arena does not kill its losing performers — it cuts parts off them and sells those parts to the audience. Sua loses an arm. In this universe the cast are already zombies, so death works differently than it does in Alien Stage.

Does Sua die in Zombie Stage? +

No. Sua loses her arm on the slaughtering table after losing to Mizi by one point, but she is not killed. The episode ends with her alive and unaccounted for.

Is Mizi dead in Zombie Stage? +

No. Mizi wins Round 1 by a single point and walks away intact. Winning means being the one who is not cut up this round.

Is Zombie Stage gorier than Alien Stage? +

It is more explicitly about bodily trade. Alien Stage kills performers and stages the death as spectacle; Zombie Stage keeps them alive and sells their parts, which is a colder horror rather than a bigger one.
