Alien Stage Test: Which Quiz Should You Take?
Three Alien Stage tests, three different answers. Compare the 10-question character quiz, the 12-question kin test and the full cast test — and pick the one that matches what you actually want to know.
Short answer: there is no single “official” Alien Stage test. This site runs three, and they answer different questions: the character quiz is fast and situational, the kin quiz is slow and introspective, and the full cast pages work as a manual test if you read all six. Pick by what you want back — a shareable result, or an honest read.
If you searched “alien stage test” and just want the shortest path: take the 12-question kin quiz. It is the one most people mean when they say the result felt accurate.
The three tests
| Test | Questions | Time | What it actually measures | Take it | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Character quiz | 10 | ~90 sec | What you would do — situational choices in the arena | Start | | Kin quiz | 12 | ~3 min | Who you are — grief, love, being watched, being remembered | Start | | Read the cast | — | ~10 min | No scoring; compare yourself against all six profiles | Browse |
The distinction that matters is the middle column. A “which character are you” test built on hypotheticals (“the door is locked, do you sing or run?”) will always skew toward whoever the reader admires. A kin test built on behaviour (“what do you do with a diary that isn’t yours?”) has a harder time flattering you. That is the whole reason both exist.
Which one should you take
- You want a result to post. Take the 10-question character quiz. It is built to be finished in one sitting and hands you a 1080×1350 portrait card.
- You want a result that stings a little. Take the kin quiz. It weights its scoring so results do not collapse toward Mizi and Sua — a known failure mode in fan quizzes where the two most-written characters hoover up every answer.
- You already know your answer and want to argue with it. Read the six character profiles directly. Every one carries the official stats, the songs, the relationships and the AU differences, so you can check whether the test’s read of Till matches the actual Till.
How the scoring works
No machine learning, no black box. Both tests are weighted rubrics hand-built against the character records on this site — the same records that render the character pages. Each answer contributes points to one or more of the six archetypes, and the result page shows the runner-up bars so you can see how close the call was.
That transparency is the point. If a result feels wrong, you can look at the bar chart and see exactly which answers pulled you where, instead of being told to trust an opaque model.
Do they work for Zombie Stage
Yes, and the reason is structural rather than convenient. The six leads keep the same core across both universes — Mizi still wants the stage, Sua still wants Mizi, Till is still restraint, Ivan is still devotion — and only their fate changes. Zombie Stage restages Round 1 with the same pairing, the same winner and a different cost, so the personality signal underneath is identical.
If you came in from the AU and want the story rather than the test, start with Zombie Stage Explained or the Round 1 recap, then come back.
Frequently asked
The questions people actually ask before taking one of these are answered in the FAQ block below — official status, accuracy, timing and whether Zombie Stage is covered.
Frequently asked
Is there an official Alien Stage test? +
No. VIVINOS has never released an official personality test. Every Alien Stage test you see is fan-made, including the three on this site. That is not a downside — it means the scoring is transparent instead of a black box.
Which Alien Stage test is most accurate? +
The 12-question kin test at /tools/alien-stage-kin-quiz/ is the most detailed, because it asks about how you handle grief, love and being watched rather than what you would do in a fight. The 10-question quiz at /quiz/which-character/ is faster and better if you just want a fun result to share.
How long do the tests take? +
The character quiz takes about 90 seconds. The kin quiz takes under three minutes. Both give you a shareable PNG card at the end, sized for X, Threads and Instagram.
Do the tests work for Zombie Stage characters? +
Yes. All three tests use the same six core profiles — Mizi, Sua, Till, Ivan, Hyuna and Luka — and the character cores are shared across Alien Stage and the Zombie Stage AU. Only their fates change between universes.
Do I need an account or to pay? +
No. All tests are free, there is no signup, and no answers leave your device. Your result is computed in the browser.
